Founding Seller Fee Terms

1. The Founding Seller Offer

Small Batch grants the first 100 qualifying sellers in each designated launch region a 0% Small Batch marketplace commission for the life of the seller account, subject to the conditions stated in these terms.

Designated launch regions are: Austin, Dallas–Fort Worth, Houston, and San Antonio. Each region maintains its own separate limit of 100 founding sellers. Sellers located outside these four regions are not eligible for the founding offer.

A seller's region is determined by the city entered at signup and may include recognized surrounding suburbs.

2. What the Offer Covers

The 0% marketplace commission means Small Batch does not charge the seller a commission on product sales. This benefit applies only to the Small Batch marketplace commission. It does not cover or waive any other amounts.

3. Payment Processing Fees

Third-party payment-processing fees are deducted when a sale occurs at the rates charged by the applicable payment provider. These processing fees are separate from the 0% Small Batch marketplace commission and are not waived by the founding offer.

4. Buyer Service Fee

Small Batch charges buyers a separate buyer service fee on each order. This fee is paid by the buyer, not the seller, and is not part of the founding seller offer. Small Batch may adjust the buyer service fee at any time.

5. Duration

The 0% marketplace commission applies for the life of the qualifying seller account while that account remains active and in good standing as described in Section 7. It is not time-limited to a trial period.

6. Account-Level Benefit

The founding offer is tied to the specific seller account granted founding status. It is not transferable to another account, person, or entity.

Changing your shop name or city after founding status has been granted does not remove the benefit and does not create a new founding grant. Each seller account may receive founding status only once.

7. Good Standing

The founding commission benefit may be revoked if a seller account is found to have engaged in fraud, abuse, material breach of the Small Batch Seller Terms, unlawful activity, or if the account is terminated by Small Batch for cause.

8. Required Legal and Payment-Provider Changes

If applicable law, card-network rules, or payment-provider requirements necessitate a change to how seller fees are structured, Small Batch may adjust the commission rate for all sellers, including founding sellers, to the minimum extent required to comply. Small Batch will provide reasonable notice where possible.

9. No Additional Commitment

These terms cover only the founding marketplace commission benefit. Small Batch reserves the right to introduce, modify, or discontinue other optional paid features or services that are separate from the base marketplace commission.

10. Acceptance

By checking the founding fee terms checkbox during seller account creation, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms. If Small Batch does not grant this seller account founding status, this acceptance has no effect on your account.

These terms are in addition to, not a replacement of, the Small Batch Seller Terms, which continue to apply.
